تدريب الطلاب على مهارات استخدام المكتبة الرقمية بالمدارس الأمريكية فى اليوم الدراسى الأول Training students to use the skills of the digital library school in America today first semester


It’s the first day of school for most kids in the United States, and so a good time to highlight the resources the Digital Public Library of America has ready and waiting for students and teachers this school year. Just like kids, DPLA spent the summer growing and maturing, adding new partners, new staff, and over a half-million items along the way. And we’ve been thinking a lot about how we can be most helpful in the classroom; this fall we will be talking to many educators from K-12 through college to get their advice. Meanwhile, we encourage everyone to tell a teacher or student this week about some of DPLA’s handy features, a few of which are sketched out in this post from DPLA Executive Director Dan Cohen.  Image credit: Detail of “Catherine M. يركز المعلمون فى اليوم الدراسى الأول على تدريب لطلاب  على مهارات استخدام المكتبة الرقمية ويرجع ذلك إلى  إصدار الحكومة  الأمريكية قرار تبني الكتب الدراسية الرقمية في التعليم. ففي أوائل عام 2012 طالبت إدارة أوباما جميع المدارس الثانوية في الولايات المتحدة بتسريع عملية الانتقال إلى الكتب المدرسية الرقمية، والعمل على تسليم الكتب المدرسية الرقمية لكل طالب بحلول عام 2017. وبالفعل بدأت كثير من الولايات بتطبيق ذلك عملياً، على سبيل المثال:
  • القانون الجديد في ولاية فلوريدا طلب من جميع المدارس الثانوية الاعتماد فقط على الكتب المدرسية الرقمية بحلول عام 2015.
  • في سبتمبر 2012 وقعت مدارس Albuquerque العامة، في نيو مكسيكو، عقدا مدته 7 سنوات مع Discovery Education قيمته 11300000 $ من أجل تحويل الكتب الورقية إلى كتب رقمية.
  • في عام 2012، ذكرت شركة أبل أن المدارس الأمريكية في أكثر من 600 منطقة قد اشترت لاب توب لجميع طلابها.
